Aunt Sophia got home early Sunday morning and after church we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's to make dinner for everyone and catch up. Aunt Sophia's fiance CJ is visiting till he leaves for boot camp at the end of next week as well. They were both so tired and warn out from the 10+ hour drive from Southern Virgina University that they just wanted to keep moving and not sit still. It didn't take Brendon long to give Aunt Sophia a hug at church, even though it had been almost 2 years since he has seen her in person. Thanks to skype, snail mail and pictures he was able to remember her.
Sophia wanted to plant some flowers and had Brendon help her. They planted Marigolds, Mums, Sunflowers and a few other mixture packs from seeds. Brendon loved planting but would get frustrated every time the dirt would stick to his hands and not stay in the pot. His favorite part (from what we could see) was poking holes in the dirt. Several times he tried to plant more flowers in the pots that had already been done. Hopefully we'll have some sprouts this week for him to see!
