Birthday Week

It is crazy to think that this little guy is 3 years old now! We had a blast celebrating with family and friends. Brendon Spent the whole week singing "Happy Birthday Brendon" everywhere we went. He also had to tell everyone it was his birthday.

Playing with Uncle Keith- Brendon was teaching him how to blow bubbles

Birthday Cake! This year I made Brendon's cake and decorated it with zoo animals.

Playing head shoulders knees and toes
Everett with Uncle Keith and Melissa
Opening a few of his gifts.

Playing with his on the wall race track from Mimi and Papa.

Playing with his new blocks from Uncle Matthew and Aunt Kat. He was determined to build the barn all on his own and it was fun to see him learn how to build it on his own

Even Birthday Boys have to take a nap. Brendon decided mid nap that he wanted to lay down with his baby brother. They spent the next hour and a half sleeping together on the couch. Brendon loves being close to Everett and is a great helper.

For Brendon's Birthday we got him his first pair of skates. He loved wearing them and skating around the buildings in our complex . What made it even better was daddy had his on too. Once Brendon had his confidence built he started trying to hop over the cracks and pick things up.

Brendon wanted pizza for lunch on his Birthday so while we waited for it to be made we walked over to the pet shop. Brendon was amazed by the lizards and snakes.
While at my parents house one night we helped plant some new grass seed in the front yard. Aunt Sophia was trying to teach Brendon how to use the seed spreader but he had more fun just throwing hand fulls.

A great way to end the fun week was Everett turning a month old and Uncle Matthew holding him for the first time since he was born. Matthew was too afraid to hold him up till this point.

Father's Day

Brendon had a blast picking out a card for daddy this year. He had to have the biggest card for his daddy too. He loved helping make fathers day gifts for daddy, grandpa and papa too. He said it was a lot of fun painting and "making messes".

Brendon and my Grandmother share a birthday and we got to celebrate with them at our father's day dinner at my grandparent's house. Brendon thought it was a lot of fun having "too many candles" on the cake and getting to help his great grandma blow them out, So much so that he kept asking us to relight them.

My family has a tendency to put cake or butter on your face when it is your birthday. Brendon wasn't to sure about it but he loved the cake and ice cream my mom and dad picked out.

Although it was a long busy day Brendon managed to find a corner to fall asleep in for a 6pm nap..... but he wasn't alone on that idea.

Family Fun

Some of the ladies from church held a Meet the Baby Sprinkle for Everett and I. These are a few of the decorations they had up for us. I didn't get any pictures during the event or of the tables but it was adorable. They had set up a sailing theme fore us.
It was also great to have family (a few cousins, aunt grandma, my mom and sisters), friends and new friends make it for a night of visiting and chatting. This was the first time out for Everett and I besides my parents house.

I love taking picture of my boys. Brendon's a bit harder to get pictures of with how mobile he is but it is still a lot of fun to see how they change over time and how sweet they are. At the end of each day I love to look over our day and remember the little moments.

 cuddles. Need I say more.
Brendon playing in the diaper boxes. He was a robot, Olaf, and in a fort all within 10 minutes.

Brendon loves to play outside, even if that means playing with his cars on the sidewalk or in the grass. He loves his cars and planes figures and loves to reenact the stories as he plays. The best part is when he tells us the story as he plays. He also loves to play at the park in our complex. He is even happier when the older kids who like to hang out there are gone. He thinks it is an amazing place to have an adventure!

I love watching Nathan and my Dad work together. I don't get to see it really unless it is at the house. Here they are working on cutting the logs that they brought back with the log splitter. Just a simple chore, but watching them work together is a blast. It is also fun to see them joke around and laugh together.
And ever after all this fun nothing is better then snuggle time with the boys.
