Games, Heat and Sun

Yesterday was a hot one! We started the day with deep cleaning the apartment and then enduring sprinkles of rain while checking out yard sales around town. After getting yard saled out we decided to head over to Kathleen's Lacrosse festival (tournament) in Lansing... Don't worry we had a plan if I needed to get to the hospital ASAP,  after all Lansing is only a 45 minute drive home. We can make it :) We weren't to worried after talking to the doctor on friday although my family was a bit surprised to see us there so far from home.

While at the festival we were able to watch her play two games of the three for the day. In between games we got to go into the school and hang out with my Aunt, Uncle and 2 cousins (one was competing in a volley Ball tournament at the sale location). It was a lot of fun to see both girls play throughout the day, but parking was aweful. Whoever planned to have 10+ volleyball teams and 20 Lacrosse teams at one middle school was asking for trouble.

Besides getting a little sun we got a lot of walking in and running around while playing in the grass. Brendon thought it was fun to run from base to base on one of the baseball fields as Grandpa chased him. Then he would climb up and walk on the players bench like it was a balance beam. Another fun game he discovered was taking Aunt Kathleen's old lacrosse stick and ball and trying to play like all the big girls were. It turned into mommy throwing the ball to him and him running it back.

After the games we came home and chilled. Ice cream, cold water and Aloe for Daddy and Brendon. Here's a cute pick of Brendon "being cool". He unpacked all the water and was bringing it to us.

Sorry not a lot of pictures due to the scattered rain
