December

With how crazy the month of December was for us we compiled it into one post and many many pictures! Enjoy, ps they may be a little out of order.

Brendon loves the car puzzles he got for Christmas this year. He has had the bus one for a year or so and his new one is the dino. The best part is they connect together to make on big track or 2 small ones.

Everett wasn't to sure about Santa stopping by and picking him up, even if he sounded like daddy.

Peek a boo baby!

Everett loves to lounge around and can fall asleep in the oddest positions.

Santa dropped off a special gift at cousin Ben and Desi's for Brendon! He loved to new tracks and bag to keep them cleaned up with.

Everett has taken up climbing and begging. He tends to do this to daddy the most when their is Ice Cream, Soup or spoons involved.
Photo bomb, I see you

River's family Christmas was a lot of fun and I wasn't able to get many photos chasing after two kids. It was a lot of fun for me to be able to celebrate with my extended family after being gone for several years. I can't believe how big some of my cousin's have gotten and how talented they are. Alec played the guitar for everyone and I was crazy to think that I had baby sat him and now hes dating and driving!

Everett continued our baby tradition of falling asleep half way through opening gifts.

Christmas day was a hoot! Opening gifts at my parents was crazy with all the littles around but so worth it with all the smiles. The biggest hit was the pop corn tin and real tree! Brendon was pooped after opening gifts at our place then Grandma and Grandpas that he played half asleep on the floor till it was time to go to Great Grandma and Great Grandpas.

Here is a few pics of Everett playing with the sun light from the window. He was mesmerized by his shadow and kept trying to grab it.

Brendon made a Christmas countdown this year where he glued a cotton ball each day to Santa's Beard. He would get upset that it wasn't Christmas yet and would try to convince us he didn't do it yet for the day.

One Tradition we started this year was reading a Christmas book or 2 or 3 or 4.... every day. We have been working to build our collection over the last few years. We also have special blankets to curl up in for each of the boys to make it even more cozy. With each day the boys were able to unwrap one new book. We never knew what it was we'd get for the day and added to the fun. Brendon's favorite was the story about the Pirate Gingerbread Man.

Grandma bought form Christmas stickers and sheets for the kids to decorate at her house. It was a hit and the kids loved having all the shapes and sparkles.

He's Back! Everett attacking daddy again trying to get some soup.

Sneeky baby figured out how to stand using the automan. The boys were a lot of fun as I worked on the Nephews Christmas gifts this year. They were mesmerized by the boards, hammers, nails and string, at times I had no idea where my stuff was....

Everett playing with his toys

Brendon Built a Christmas train for the Lowes Build and Grow day. He loved the kids hammers they had out and was sad when he had to turn it back in at the end.

Learning to stand on his own.

This bow was floating around our apartment for several weeks and these two would constantly be playing with it. Here is when it was first found and Brendon was telling Everett all about it and what it was. " this is a pretty to go on presents..... no no no you can't eat it. It's a pretty"

Brendon was trying to re create the Nativity to tell Everett the story but Everett kept "trying to eat the angel and squish the baby" that Brendon made a human wall and laid on half of it himself.

"Baby Sleeping.... shhhh... don't wake him up"

Where did it go? Oh how did it get there?

"Get Daddy! Wake up wake up wake up, we want to play. It's not bed time yet"

Home Depot's Kids day with daddy, grandpa and uncle Matthew.

Mommy and Everett window shopping, or should I say Light...

Mid January and we can still do lawn mower rides in the yard with the wagon! Oh ya!

Grandpa putting Brendon to work washing windows for a general clean. we only cleaned it 4 times.... that a record compared to the normal 10

Chillin

Last but not least Peas! Everett is not a fan.
