Imagin That

Brendon loves to explore and try new things here are a few of the crazy ideas and moments we couth him doing over the last few weeks. As well as some more calm and cute ones.
Brendon found the box of preschool stuff I have been putting together for him to work on when we got settled down. He was matching the shapes and colors on our bed and then using his stick people to decide if they matched the mommy (girl) colors or daddy (boy) colors. He then pulled out the links of hearts, flowers and stars and started sorting them into chains.
Once daddy finished painting the guestroom at Grandma and Grandpa's we set Brendon's bed up. Anytime he went MIA we would find him sitting on it reading or watching PBS on my tablet. The little stinker figured out how to get to the shows he liked on Netflix. (He would ask before taking the tablet but it was usually to play one of his games)

Brendon ended up getting a bad cold and was really upset we stayed home from church but even being sick he was able to pull off being cute. He loved sitting in the living room watching Mickey Mouse Club House, Curious George or Planes with all the dogs. After a few days his cough went away, thank goodness it was only a cold and nothing worst. He would walk around the house trying to figure things out and put them together when he had the energy saying he was a monkey.
One thing we figured out later on was the clock in the living room was always off and we would all rest it. Turns out our little monkey was grabbing it when no one was around and had discovered the dial to change the time from watching us all do it to change the clocks. Sneaky.... Now Grandma and Grandpa don't trust that clock :)
Here are some fun ones from moving into our apartment. Nathan and I wonder why we even have toys for Brendon sometimes. Brendon found one of our sleeping pads for camping and decided it was going to be his hide out, tunnel, wave, and like a dozen other things all in the space of an hour while Daddy unloaded the truck. Over the next 2 days we would find him sitting on it, hiding in it and just laugh. His imagination was endless and even when we got his toys all unpacked he would still incorporate the mat into whatever he was doing.
