August Fun

Just a heads up that this is going to be a longer post and have a lot of random photos as I try to play catch up and post some of the adventures and fun we have had over the month.

Everett is getting so big and loves to be sitting up where he can see what is going on around him. He loves to be near us when we are sitting on the couch and being able to see the whole room.
Nate and I had been getting ready one morning and found these two chatting up a storm. Brendon thought it would be fun to climb in the crib with Everett to play and we let him stay there as long as he was laying down. He has only done this once so far and was cute to come in on. Both boys had been asleep originally. Brendon in our bed and Everett in the crib.

It was hot several days in a row and Brendon would go down for a nap dressed and I would find him like this 30 minutes after him falling asleep. I promise this kid does wear clothes a home it just seems he likes to be unclothed when I think to grab a few pictures.
Everett was not cooperating when we tried to fit him for his Blessing outfit. Here is what he would do every time we would pick up the outfit my mom made.
Our boys make the sweetest smiles and funny faces.

This is the reason I have gone back to pulling my hair up all the time. Everett loves to grab my hair and pull it even in his sleep. This is starting to drive me crazy and It may be getting cut again soon.
Brendon discovered a new Disney movie recorded on my parents TV. Unfortunately for everyone else we all have it memorized after it playing over and over. Everett like it too. The music seems to put him to sleep really well.

 Tummy Time! Lots of faces
Daddy and the grumpy boys one morning as I got ready for the day.

Sleeping baby. I loved his hands like this and had to get a picture  of it to share. My thumb is holding his onsie out of the way
Smiles

Brendon loves to help at my parents house and it can be entertaining as he tries to do things with the big boys.

Uncle Keith "Babysitting" Brendon, Ernie and Dean (cousins). He sat down to watch the boys play and well ended up watching the back of his eyelids.

My dad got the boys matching Frogs and Brendon said he Had to get a picture with them. Originally I was going to take it of just him but he said Everett wanted his picture taken too.

 shhhhh and burrr
 ahhhh! kiss kiss kiss, cheese

Making pigs in a blanket. Brendon forgot one big step, Backing it. He realized after biting one that it wasn't right and decided we needed to make more. After a second batch was done he went to lay and came back running into say "I forgot something.... mommy can you bake it now?"

Summer Sun!

I am slowly getting back into shape from my crazy pregnancy with this little guy and am finally OK with my picture taken again, although I am still usually the one taking the picture still. :)

How cute is Everett's funny face as he was playing with himself in the screen of my phone as I took a selfie.

Brendon can swim really well with his swimmers vest and loves the water so much! He spends most of the time chasing his dragon, lizard, frog float (it changes every time based on what Wild Kratz episode was on) .

 Daddy teaching Brendon to swim.
Everett chilling with Mommy under the umbrella after we took a short swim in the water. It got a little windy for this little guy to stay in much longer. As it was Brendon had to be bribed to come out after turning into a prune.

Boys, Selfies and Fun

The last few weeks have been really crazy for us and I haven't had much time to really blog about it all so here are some fun shots of the boys and I having fun around the apartment with my cell. Brendon has learned how to use my cell to take selfies or as he calls them facies.

Everett is getting bigger by the day and I love seeing how much he has changed orver the last few weeks. He has such a cute smile ( If you can catch it) and a sweet little laugh. He is also ticklish on his feet and loves to play a simple game where you lightly touch his foot he pulls it away and then puts it back to do it again.
Everett also loves to hold a hand when he sleeps. Occasionally we can get by with him holding his own but most the time if he wants to hold a hand it has to be mommy or daddy.

Brendon loves pictures with Everett. He also loves to play with him, or near him to make sure he doesn't get lonely.

 Tummy time

Brendon loves to hold Everett but he is determined that he has to use one of the nursing pillows to hold him. Everett doesn't seem to mind laying on the pillow to be held
